Diana Gateño is a Panamanian intermedia artist and archivist currently living and working in Boston, MA. Her work explores patterns and rituals of personal and societal obsession that we shape our lives around performing
— religious devotion, sexual fixation, fandom, philosophy and ideology.
Through traditional craft processes, multi-dimensional installations and staggered-presence performance, it consolidates appropriated inputs that span eras, cultures and thresholds of social sensibility.
